General Questions
What services does Verity offer?
Verity offers a Christ-centered continuum that may include treatment coordination, recovery housing, case management, and continuing support. Not every service is necessarily active or directly operated.
Is recovery housing the same as treatment?
Structured sober living provides housing, accountability, and recovery routines. It is not detox, emergency care, therapy, or licensed clinical treatment. People who need a higher level of care should continue with licensed providers or move to higher support first.
Who is recovery housing designed for?
Recovery housing may be appropriate for adults who have completed or are transitioning from treatment, are participating in outpatient care, want stronger accountability, or need a stable substance-free living environment.
Is recovery housing the same as rehab?
No. Rehab or treatment refers to clinical care. Recovery housing is a separate support service that can complement outside treatment or recovery support.
Treatment and Care
What levels of care are available?
Verity's developing continuum includes structured recovery housing in development, detox and residential treatment coordinated through referral partners, and additional treatment levels in development. Admissions can explain current status and help identify the appropriate next step.
Does Verity provide clinical and medical treatment?
Verity is a Christ-centered drug rehab and substance-use recovery organization that offers faith support alongside care. Structured recovery housing is in development; clinical and medical services are coordinated through appropriately licensed referral partners as applicable. Faith support never replaces licensed clinical treatment, medical care, psychiatric care, detoxification, or emergency care.
Can someone call, text, or chat without committing to treatment?
Yes. Calls, texts, and private messages are answered without pressure or obligation.
Is support available 24/7?
Yes. Admissions support is available 24/7 by phone or text.
Can insurance be verified?
Yes. Insurance can be reviewed as part of admissions, but verification is not a guarantee of authorization or payment.
Admissions
How do I get started?
Use the admissions or availability form to share your timeline, general fit questions, Christ-centered care preferences, and contact information. The team can then help clarify next steps.
What makes someone a good fit?
A good fit depends on the level of care being considered. For recovery housing, this usually includes readiness for sobriety, willingness to follow expectations, respect for others, and a desire to live in a structured environment.
What if someone needs treatment first?
If detox, inpatient treatment, medical support, or closer psychiatric care is needed, those needs should be addressed before sober living becomes the next step.
Can family members contact you?
Yes. Families, case managers, and treatment providers may contact Verity on behalf of a prospective client or resident.
Living in the Home
Can I work while living in recovery housing?
Yes. Residents are encouraged to pursue employment, education, vocational training, meetings, and other productive responsibilities that support recovery and independence.
Are visitors allowed?
Visitor policies may vary by home and are designed to support safety, privacy, and recovery. Specific expectations are reviewed before move-in.
Do you perform drug or alcohol testing?
Policies may vary by home. Residents receive the applicable expectations and accountability standards before move-in.
Faith and Spiritual Support
What does God-first mean at Verity?
Verity is a God-first, Christ-centered organization. God's direction shapes our identity, values, and recovery framework, while clinical treatment, medical support, and recovery services remain full-scope, evidence-based, and available without pressure.
Is faith required?
No. Christian conversation should remain respectful and non-coercive. Christ-centered support is not meant to be used as pressure or as a substitute for care.
Are spiritual activities optional?
Yes. Christian support should be offered with respect and clarity. Clients, residents, and families can ask how prayer, Scripture, fellowship, or other faith-based elements are handled in practice.
Can residents attend church or ask about spiritual support?
Yes. Questions about church involvement, Christian encouragement, and faith-friendly support are welcome as part of the admissions conversation.
Does faith replace treatment or therapy?
No. Prayer, Scripture, and spiritual encouragement may support recovery, but they do not replace detox, treatment, therapy, medication, or emergency care.
Outside Support and Safety
Do you work with outpatient providers?
Yes. Recovery housing often works best when residents continue with outpatient programs, counseling, medical care, or recovery support outside the home.
Can treatment providers coordinate with the team?
Yes. Treatment providers can reach out about client fit, practical availability, and how recovery housing or another program may fit into a larger recovery plan.
What if the situation is urgent or unsafe?
Do not use a general site form for emergencies. If there is immediate danger, call 911. If crisis support is needed, call or text 988.
