Information we collect
We collect information that you voluntarily submit through the contact form or other inquiry channels. The current form collects your name, phone number, email address, message, spam-check response, and optional SMS consent details.
The site uses Vercel Analytics to measure site usage and page views. Recovery tool responses are kept on your device unless you choose to save them.
How we use information
We use inquiry information to respond to questions, coordinate admissions conversations, and improve the usability of the website.
If you opt in to SMS by checking the optional SMS consent box on the inquiry form, we may send conversational SMS messages for: admissions, placement, or availability updates; program and service updates; continuing-care and aftercare coordination; sober-living and recovery-housing follow-up; practical check-ins; and replies to messages you send us. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
We do not use form responses to diagnose, treat, or evaluate medical or psychiatric conditions.
Sharing of opt-in information
Mobile opt-in information and text-message consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We do not sell personal information. Inquiry details and opt-in choices are shared only as needed to respond to your inquiry, coordinate follow-up, or comply with the law.
The contact form is processed by Formspree, which receives submitted form data and forwards it to the configured admissions recipient. Formspree may retain submissions according to its service terms and privacy practices.
Limited operational disclosures to service providers needed to deliver messages (for example, a text-messaging platform or carrier) are permitted only where the provider is bound to protect the data and to use it solely to deliver messages on our behalf.
SMS opt-in information, including the fact that you consented, is used only to send you the messages you agreed to receive and to maintain required consent records.
SMS and text-message communications
Text-message (SMS) contact happens only with your affirmative consent. A telephone number alone is never treated as consent. On the website inquiry forms, consent is given only when you voluntarily check the optional SMS consent box; the box is unchecked by default and is not required to submit the form or to receive services.
With your consent, you may receive conversational SMS messages for: admissions, placement, or availability updates; program and service updates; continuing-care and aftercare coordination; sober-living and recovery-housing follow-up; practical check-ins; and replies to messages you send us. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, reply HELP for support, message and data rates may apply, and messaging frequency may vary. Opting out of text messages does not affect any other service you receive.
What the SMS fields include: the mobile number you provide, whether you consented, the exact version of the consent disclosure shown, the form or page where consent was given, and the consent method (website_checkbox). These fields are submitted to Formspree with the inquiry so the configured admissions recipient can maintain the applicable consent records. This website does not maintain a separate append-only consent database.
Opt-in choices are included with the inquiry. If you later reply STOP, the applicable messaging system must honor that opt-out across Verity text-message programs. Text-message content and consent information are handled as described in the sharing and retention sections of this policy and are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
How inquiry handling works
Inquiry details are used for admissions follow-up, callback coordination, and basic reply handling. They are not published publicly and are not used as a general marketing mailing list sign-up.
Access to inquiry details stays limited to staff or operators who need the information to respond, coordinate next steps, or manage the admissions process.
If an inquiry includes crisis, detox, medical, psychiatric, or other higher-care concerns, the message should be treated as a routing and escalation issue rather than as a full clinical intake record.
Sensitive details and safer form use
Please do not submit detailed medical, psychiatric, detoxification, overdose, or other urgent crisis information through a general web form. Share only the basic details needed for a callback or admissions response.
If you need to share urgent clinical details, use an appropriate emergency, medical, or licensed treatment pathway instead of a general website form.
Questions about Christ-centered support are welcome. Verity is a God-first organization, and spiritual support is offered, never forced. People at every stage of belief are welcome here - deeply committed Christians, people exploring faith, and people who simply want excellent care. Faith practices such as prayer, Scripture, church involvement, or 12-Step support do not replace detoxification, medical care, psychiatric treatment, psychotherapy, licensed addiction treatment, or emergency care.
Recovery tools and local browser storage
Recovery tools run in the browser by default. If you choose to save a tool, the data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is saved unless you explicitly enable that option in the tool.
If you use a shared device, do not store sensitive responses on it unless you understand the privacy implications.
Cookies, analytics, and security
The site uses Vercel Analytics for page-view and usage measurement. Private recovery-tool responses stay on your device unless you choose to save them.
Reasonable technical and administrative safeguards are used to protect site data, but no website can guarantee perfect security.
Data minimization and our commitment to your privacy
We collect only the information needed to respond to an inquiry, coordinate a next step, or operate the website. We do not collect data beyond what our scope of service requires, and we do not use information for any purpose other than responding to you and operating the website.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not build advertising or marketing profiles from inquiry data, and we do not share opt-in or contact information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Vercel Analytics receives the usage data needed for its measurement service. Formspree receives contact-form submissions as described above.
Current online form status
The online contact form collects only the minimum fields currently needed to respond to an inquiry: your name, phone, email, spam-check response, and message. SMS text messaging is optional and requires an explicit opt-in.
When you submit the form, Formspree processes the submission and forwards it to the configured admissions recipient. The submission includes the SMS consent version, disclosure statement, source, and method so the recipient can maintain the applicable consent record.
Retention
We keep inquiry and opt-in information only as long as needed to respond, coordinate follow-up, satisfy legal or regulatory recordkeeping requirements, or resolve disputes. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or de-identified.
Consent, opt-in, and opt-out records for text messaging are retained as long as needed to demonstrate compliance with applicable messaging laws and carrier requirements, and are then deleted or de-identified.
Your privacy rights
You can choose not to provide information, opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and contact us to ask what information we hold about you or to request correction or deletion.
If applicable law provides additional privacy rights, we will honor those rights and will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
Children and vulnerable individuals
The website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Visitors in crisis should call 911 for immediate danger or 988 for emotional crisis support rather than submitting sensitive details online.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as services, law, or operations change. The updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted here before they take effect.
Contact and privacy questions
For privacy questions, opt-out requests, or access and correction requests, contact us using the phone or email listed on the contact page.
Your choices
You can choose not to submit a form, avoid the optional SMS opt-in, use browser controls to limit analytics, or avoid saving recovery tool data locally.
If you want a form submission removed from active follow-up, contact us directly and include enough detail to identify the message.
If your message was sent through a general website form and you realize it included more sensitive detail than intended, contact Verity directly so staff can handle the follow-up more carefully.
