Medical Detox Coordination

Withdrawal-management planning and transition support through appropriately licensed medical providers when detox is needed.

Available Through Referral Partners

Medical detoxification is the highest-acuity entry point in this continuum. When a person may be at risk during withdrawal, placement should begin with medical assessment and licensed withdrawal management rather than housing alone.

Intensity: Twenty-four-hour medical withdrawal support | Housing: Coordinated separately | Clinical: Partner / pending

Who it may fit

  • People who may be entering treatment with current withdrawal risk.
  • Families and referral partners who need help identifying the right medical next step.
  • Clients transitioning from emergency departments, hospitals, or crisis referrals into ongoing treatment.

What it includes

  • Medical assessment
  • Withdrawal monitoring
  • Medication management when clinically appropriate
  • Stabilization
  • Safety planning
  • Transition planning into the next level of care
  • Coordination with hospitals or licensed detox partners when applicable

How it works

  1. 01

Detoxification services may be coordinated through appropriately licensed medical providers or partner facilities.

  2. 02

Clients can enter the continuum at another level when detox is not clinically indicated.

  3. 03

Final placement depends on clinical appropriateness, provider availability, and payer or private-pay arrangements.

Caution: Verity does not represent this page as proof that detox is directly licensed or operated in-house. Service delivery must be confirmed before publication.
